Following on from a disgruntled Four Tet lashing out against a label overstepping the mark, enigmatic Ninja Tune artist Actress has similarly treated his Twitter followers to some gratis content by posting free download links to three new tracks. Linked to popular file sharing website Sendspace the producer has revealed three short new works available for free download entitled ‘tREF‘, ‘Manuel’, and ‘jumpyju‘.

Whilst the motivation for the Werk Disc’s boss online generosity has yet to be established he does has form for rewarding fans with free material via his Twitter feed offering a set of free downloads that included ‘Parallel Worlds’ in 2011.  Those hoping to get a sneak peek of Actress’ new album ‘Ghettoville’ will be disappointed however with none of the three tracks on offer appearing on the LPs tracklist.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
