Share

Juliet Fox and Stëh join forces on their new hard techno single, Apollo 11, which is out on the TREGAMBE record label run by Juliet.

Two dynamic techno artists, Juliet Fox representing the old guard, and Stëh representing the new-school. This release encapsulates the hard techno scene, which combines fresh ideas with timeless elements taken from techno released in the late ‘90s and early ‘00s.

Hailing from the UK, but well-known globally, Juliet Fox is a revered DJ and producer who has spent many years playing international headline shows. Also, a talented producer, she has featured music on influential record labels ranging from Second State to Filth on Acid.

Stëh is a Brazilian artist living in Portugal, where she is a core member of the country’s thriving techno scene. Playing regular DJ sets, she has established a style that combines melodic melodies and brutal drums, which unleash hell upon a dance floor. This collaboration with Juliet Fox is her first time working with TREGAMBE, adding the imprint to her catalogue, which also includes music on 999999999’s NineTimesNine and Indira Paganotto’s ARTCORE RECORDS.

“Apollo 11” is the only track on this release, and its pulsating bassline fills the track with energy from the ground up. Rubbery synths give a bounce to the groove with their funky offbeat rhythms, and the breakdown is marked by trippy vocals and the euphoria of a hands-in-the-air lead synth. Reaching a crescendo at the end of the main breakdown, the intensity lifts when the drums come slamming back in.
