Clif Jack and Jil Tanner are two rising stars within the global techno scene, and they have come together to drop a single called, Vibe Hard.
“Vibe Hard” combines the artists complementary styles, which layer robust drums with gripping hooks that ensure mainstage appeal. The artists have already rubbed shoulders via MJA the Vision, which is Clif Jack’s record label, an imprint that has signed music by Jil Tanner.
This single comes via Union Three, which is a record label co-founded by Ramiro Lopez and Spartaque, and this single marks the imprint debut for both Clif and Jil.
Clif Jack has previously worked with Spartaque’s record label Codex, amidst his impressive catalogue, which also includes Filth on Acid, JAM Armada, and many others.
Jil Tanner doesn’t just produce techno, as she has featured house tracks on imprints such as Hottrax. When it comes to techno, she has been prolific on her own record label, K N KT.
The only track on the release, “Vibe Hard” opens with a slamming kick drum and rumbling bassline to form a foundation for call and response rave stabs. Its dark atmosphere is complemented by the eerie tone of the vocal, which during the breakdown adds to the building tension, before the kick drops in, and the track lifts to the next level.
