Boom Merchant lands on Tribal Pulse with his new techno single “Throw Up”

Boom Merchant makes a triumphant return to his record label Tribal Pulse with his new single, Throw Up.

“Throw Up” is a bouncy techno track with dark atmosphere and industrial undertones. The original version comes alongside remixes by Fractious and Obsidian Wave.

Making a name for himself as a unique producer and talented DJ, Boom Merchant pushes an innovative style that combines raw energy and distinctive hook lines.

Tribal Pulse is a preferred outlet for Boom Merchant to release his music, and Obsidian Wave is also a favourite on the imprint.

Obsidian Wave’s style is a merger of hardcore breakbeat and old-school techno, and that’s on full display within his remix.

Fractious runs the RAW WORX label, and has also showcased his hypnotic style on the likes of Tronic, KD RAW, Sway, and Unrilis.

“Throw Up” has a bouncy bassline and thrashing hi-hats surrounding the muffled tones of the boisterous vocal and lurching synth stabs. The breakdown has deep pads that contrast with the aggressive vibe of the main groove.

Fractious’ remix focuses on percussion, and he adds his own bassline and juddering melody to create a mesmerising version. Obsidian Wave takes a different approach with the use of a warping stab and toughened drums that increase the intensity.
