Mix of the Day: Louis Proud



Coventry based DJ and producer Louis Proud is quickly becoming one of the fastest rising names within the current electronic music world. Having started in this business seven years ago, along the years Louis Proud has built-up his reputation and has attracted the attention of world renowned labels, having signed deals with the likes of: Circus Recordings, CR2 Records, Toolroom Records and Spinnin’ Records.

Louis is also involved in the running of his own imprints: Proud Sound Records and Proud Runs Deep, which are rapidly growing into two important entities within the electronic music industry. In the past few months Louis’ productions have been featured for a staggering four times on BBC Radio 1 as part of: Carl Cox’s ‘Essential Mix (Live from Space Ibiza)’, Danny Howard’s ‘Dance Anthems’, Pete Tong’s ‘Essential Mix’ and Hannah Wants’ show.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
