Ilario Alicante on Staying Healthy as a DJ

Grahame Farmer sat down with Ilario Alicante recently at the DJ Awards recently in the Big Question.

Ilario was up for the techno award (which he went on to win). Grahame & Ilario chatted about how he stays healthy on the road as a DJ, touring as a dj, he gives his tips and tricks for keeping his head when all things go crazy and general health & wellness for DJs.

The 21st edition DJ Awards happened at Heart Ibiza on Tuesday 11th September. Paying homage to the era of Disco, the glitter balls were out in force with as were the DJ’s, and the electronic music industry. The event was hosted superbly by Graham Sahara and Katie Hayley Knight, they had the job of announcing the 27 award winners – representing the heavyweights, the newcomers, and the influencers.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces.
