elrow & Nychos presents New Theme ‘Dance With The Serpent’

elrow and Nychos invites you to dive into the experience, make connections, shake off the old, and discover something new with the new collaboration ‘Dance With The Serpent’.

As every year, at the end of the Ibizan season, elrow launches the new annual theme in collaboration with a multidisciplinary global artist. For this 2023, the artist chosen to create the theme has been the Austrian Nychos, who has designed a new elrow universe inspired in the movement of dancing called “Dance with the Serpent”.

“Dance is about immersing ourselves in a vibration that makes us happy. And happiness is the state of being that enables us to synchronize – with ourselves, our surroundings, and the great power of the Universe.”, said Nychos.

NYCHOS is an alter ego, created by a kid who grew up amidst a clash of cultures: A world where Austrian tradition and its hunting culture meets 1980s pop culture, comics, and television. The visual input from back then still contributes to the output of the adult.

Nychos sees the “Dance”, as a state of meditation, ecstasy, an immersion into a vibration that makes us happy, where we lose sense of time, the world around us and experience an immediate state of being. Dance is where we synchronize. It is where transformation happens, it’s where movement sheds old layers of skin and allows something new to emerge.

“Once again, with this new theme, elrow aims to astonish and innovate through a fresh collaboration with creative minds from the realms of art, comics, and cinema…” – including Juan and Cruz Arnau, the founders of elrow.

The next, September 30th, coinciding with the BIG elrow Amnesia Closing Party, the Arnau’s worldwide brand debuts with the theme “Dance with the Serpent by artist NYCHOS”, an immersion into the fascinating realm of snakes. Vibrant creatures, showcasing unique and complex levels of aesthetics in motion. They may tempt us into darkness, the only place where we will truly see the light. After all, it is the snake that encounters us as a symbol of healing across many cultures: The serpent entwined around the rod of Asclepius, or Kundalini as the primal creative force, rising up the spine to reunite with cosmic energy.

“We are very happy to launch this new theme to the world in collaboration with a great and inspiring artist such as Nychos. Our intention is to continue to break the molds and evolve our platform into new universes embracing in this case the visual landscape of Dance with the Serpent, which explores the parallels of presumed opposites: animal and human, physical and metaphysical, dark and bright, life and death”, comment Juan and Cruz Arnau.

As Nychos & the Arnau’s family both believe: Dance is the place where the transformation happens. Get ready to vibe and dance like never before!

If the primary goal of the ‘DANCE WITH THE SERPENT’ show is to get you dancing, then undoubtedly, music will play a crucial role. It will take us on a journey through various soundscapes, creating rhythms and moments that will evolve throughout the party, guiding us on our own creative exploration within Nychos’ unique universe. Get ready to experience the talents of some of the best DJs on the planet!

The premiere will take place at the iconic Amnesia Ibiza club, featuring a lineup of talented tech-house artists, including Adam Beyer, Bastian Bux, Joris Voorn, Sarah Story & Toni Varga.
