Born and raised in the Netherlands, in his teenage years Mike McFly quickly became infatuated with electronic music.
It was the likes of Cassius, Daft Punk and DJ Falcon that pulled him towards the French House realm. The uplifting melodies and funk driven bass lines inspired him to dive in to audio production for himself. Through his work ethic and passion for the craft, Mike powered through a few other genres before arriving at his true love: dirty, gritty, Tech House.
The trademark French filtered break downs remained, but today are accompanied by bass heavy and filth covered beats. His credo: “if they move, they approve”, allow for some pretty straightforward 4×4 productions.
