Group Therapy Weekender returns

After a triumphant debut at the Gorge Amphitheatre back in September 2017 for the 250th episode of their Group Therapy radio show, Above & Beyond return to the infamous venue in Washington State the last weekend in July (27th & 28th) for their Group Therapy Weekender. In tow is a slew of Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep artists that have been staples for the Anjunafamily for many years, as well as newcomers who have been instrumental in the continued growth and success of the labels.

Building on the template of their successful camping endeavour, this event has expanded both days into the amphitheatre area: as demand for their deep brand has increased since their last outing at the venue along the Columbia River. In the original announcement, Above & Beyond has a feature set both days: an obvious headlining set on Saturday followed by an opening yoga performance (made famous by their 2014 Robot Heart yoga set) the next morning. The other Saturday artists are as follows: ALPHA 9 b2b Spencer Brown, Andrew Bayer, Audien, Gabriel & Dresden, GRUM, Ilan Bluestone, Jason Ross and Tinlicker. Rounding out Sunday’s lineup is Ben Böhmer Live, Cubicolor Live, Eli & Fur, James Grant & Jody Wisternoff, Marsh & Nox Vahn and Yotto.

Further details have now surfaced involving the addition of two more Anjuna artists and a host of activities. Up-and-coming star Qrion was added to the Saturday bill, with the lad toting the curly moustache and beanie, Luttrell, joining the Anjunadeep crew on Sunday. For the activities part of the announcement, daily yoga and meditation, silent disco, nature walks, chill-out garden, food truck rave, Anjunstore pop-up, art installations, community crafts, A&R demo drop, secret campsite parties, artist meet and greets, and a ping pong tournament are among what’s in store for the weekend of camping and music with your Anjunafamily.

The sophomore run of the event is shaping up to be one of those experiences people will be buzzing about in the music industry all year, into next and until the next rendition comes around.
