Farr Festival 2018 reveals Dixon, Moodymann, Gerd Janson, Optimo and Éclair FiFi

Farr Festival have announced their first acts joining them at Bygrave Woods in Hertfordshire, next summer across 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th July 2018.

Taking centre stage are Innervisions co-founder Dixon, Mahogani Music legend Moodymann, Running Back label founder Gerd Janson, Glasgow’s iconic DJ duo Optimo and LuckyMe family member Eclair Fifi.  Stage hosts include Mr G tongue-in-cheek “G’s Spot” stage, Sub Club legends JD Twitch and JG Wilkes, South London’s Balamii Radio uproot from their Peckham-based studio and head to the Woods, promising to inject a wealth of budding talent to the festival.

Following the success of our ambient and experimental stage “Campfire Headphase”, Inverted Audio will curate an expanded programme of otherworldly electronic music, spanning the realms of ambient and downtempo via experimental and rugged techno.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
