The Ark, the world’s most epic electronic event at sea announces the first wave of acts on the inaugural voyage which takes place from August 31st to September 3rd, 2017 on Royal Caribbean’s perfectly comfortably and amazingly luxurious Freedom of the Seas.

They’ve revealed big headliners covering house and techno bases including Masters at Work, Roger Sanchez, Gerd Janson, Stephan Bodzin, KiNK (Live), Martin Solveig a mix of live and DJ sets to 4000 party people.

On top of these legends, innovative minimal masters like Kompakt’s Robag Wruhme, new school stars like Dane Noir, who runs his own musical empire and releases on Defected, plus Do Not Sleep man Darius Syrossian, melancholic house star Finnebassen, Rekids techno heroine Peggy Gou, Amelie Lens, plus Cinnaman and Gabriel Ananda.

But that’s not all,  house master Dennis Ferrer, Dutch pioneer Jaydee, Eagles & Butterflies, Olivier Weiter, Jan van Kampen, Prunk b2b Chris Stussy and more all lining up over the four days.

This is just phase one of the line-up, with much more to come in the months ahead.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
