Coming up in September is his ‘Promised Land’ EP due on Kaluki Music as well on September 18th.

Kinnerman shares his musical Influences with us, ahead of his show this Friday, August 31st at Egg for Mr Afterparty’s ‘Eleventh’ series alongside Mat.Joe and Jess Bays.

1) ’Need To Feel Loved’ – Reflekt
This track has always been one of my favourites…a real journey and from my first trip to Ibiza. I used to play this on repeat and it’s always been special to me.

2) ‘Blackwater’ – Octave One
Again, back to my first trip to Ibiza in 2011. I was 18 years old and everywhere in the day this was always getting played – the percussion and vocals are just unreal.

3) ‘Bits & Pieces’ – Artemisia
This was giving to me by my dad and to my knowledge was the first 12 inch record I ever played on turntables. I was about 9 years old in my dad’s loft getting chased by wasps whilst trying to learn how to beat match 😉 lol

4) ‘ Strobe’ – Deadmau5
I always referenced Deadmau5 tracks in my early production career whilst trying to figure out his production techniques behind his music. This track was one of my favourites.

5) ‘Passion’ Naked Mix – Gat Decor
A true house classic – you can’t beat a good piano.

6) ‘Never Too Much’ – Luther Vandross
The groove always got me, never fails to get me moving.

7) ‘Whatcha Say About My Momma’ – Jesse Perez
Again another groove that just inspires me so much. It always shakes dance floors up.

8) ‘Let’s Groove’ – George Morel
Another house classic. I love everything about this track and if you don’t like it you’re not my mate 🙂 lol

9) ‘Hey Baby’ – DJ Otzi
A funny one I used to play on repeat when I was a kid.

10) ‘Have You Seen Her’ – Chi Lites
My dad always used to play this when I was growing up and it recalls all the family holidays and has always stuck in my head.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
