Saoirse to takeover Phonox every Friday in January

Share

Despite 2021 being a very stunted year, Saoirse’s work rate and output has been relentless.

The year has seen Saoirse co-found and curate Body Movements Festival, one of the most exciting new festivals in the capital, focused on celebrating queer bodies in electronic music across East London, in addition to launching her ‘trUst Recordings’ imprint and first EP, ‘Trust’ and single ‘Gentle Romance’.

To top it off, before the year is over, Saoirse has just released a stand-out Boiler Room (MARICAS) and debut Radio 1 Essential Mix.

One final 2021 stand-out moment for Saoirse would be her Phonox debut, across Shanti Celeste’s September residency. Described by Phonox as one of the best club nights post-pandemic, to start 2022 with a Saorise x Phonox collaboration makes a lot of sense.

As Radio 1 puts it, ‘the highly sought after Phonox residency’, is the perfect project for Saoirse to flex her DJ and curational talents, with two all night long sets on either side of Peach and Andrew James Gustav appearances.

1st release tickets have sold out for all dates. £10 tickets are now on sale for all Fridays across January.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
