If your December plans don’t involve altitude, bass bins and a heavy dose of après energy, you might want to rethink your calendar. Rise Festival is back for 2025, and the first wave of artists just landed like a perfectly timed kick drum.
From 6 to 13 December, Les 2 Alpes becomes a melting pot of snow-covered madness and proper dancefloor business. This isn’t your average mountain getaway, it’s the world’s biggest independent ski and music festival, and it’s been levelling up since day one. Think sun-drenched slopes by day and stacked lineups by night, all soundtracked by the best in underground club culture.
Phase one of the lineup is here and it’s absolutely firing. Kettama’s bringing that turbocharged groove, Overmono are on DJ duties (expect warped textures and serious low-end pressure), and Interplanetary Criminal is locked in to drop some 2-step gold. Kanine’s loading up the bass cannons for the DnB crew, while Max Dean, Luuk Van Dijk and Rossi. deliver that slick minimal bounce for the afters faithful.
RAdd in Serum, Josh Baker, Mozey, Badger, and the ever-rising Wildish and Ellia Jaya, and you’ve got yourself a lineup that hits every corner of the rave map. From garage swing to chest-rattling rollers, this one’s got all the flavours. No fillers here, just dancefloor artillery.
Rise isn’t just about the big moments though — it’s the sweaty indoor sessions, the impromptu alpine afters, and those blurry late-night laps between stages that make it legendary. Last year pulled ravers from over 45 countries and 2025’s shaping up even bigger.
Three main stages, five indoor spots, a mountain warehouse and 2600m-high raves with views you won’t believe. Add in spa days and dining in the clouds if that’s your vibe — but let’s be honest, you’re here for the beats.
