Hertfordshire festival Berko Fields has revealed that 400 drones will accompany its Friday and Saturday headline sets this September. The aerial displays will rise behind the main stage at Berkhamsted Cricket Club, creating formations choreographed directly to the music.
Running from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th September, Berko Fields previously teased the addition as a surprise immersive experience. The first display will appear during Fish56Octagon’s closing chapter of The House Takeover on Friday night.
A second show will follow on Saturday as Symphonica Orchestra reach the finale of their Ibiza Classics performance. Large 3D shapes and images will shift across the night sky, combining light, music and movement above the crowd.
The festival programme also includes DJ SKT and BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard. Sunday brings a family focused Raver Tots finale headlined by So Solid Crew and Artful Dodger.
Alongside three days of electronic music, Berko Fields will host local street food traders serving everything from smashed burgers to sourdough pizza.
Tickets and VIP packages remain available through the Berko Fields website. Friday tickets start from £25 for adults, while Saturday prices begin at £5 for children under 12 and £37 for adults. Sunday adult tickets start from £20, with full weekend passes available from £94.05.
