Tryst Temps goes sub-zero on Kosenprod with ‘Freezing Moon’

Share

Cold front incoming. Tryst Temps is back on Kosenprod with ‘Freezing Moon’, a three-track EP that drags Neurofunk somewhere properly icy. Cinematic tension, razor-edge sound design, and basslines that hit like a slammed walk-in freezer door. This one’s built for the rooms where the fog machine never switches off.

Tryst Temps has spent the last few years quietly stacking up serious co-signs. Releases on Delta9, Surveillance Music, and Vandal Records have put his name on the radar, and the kind of names backing him say plenty: Noisia, Bredren, Mindscape, Rido, Billain, and John B have all thrown support behind his tracks. He’s shared stages with several of them too, taking his sound through Toulouse, Paris, and Bristol. Not bad for a producer who’s only getting started.

The sound itself sits in that sweet spot between minimal precision and full Techstep weight, with Liquid influences sneaking in when you least expect it. There’s a fascination with darker textures running through everything he makes, the kind of psychedelic, unconventional rhythm work that rewards a proper sound system and a dark room.

‘Freezing Moon’ opens with our premiere ‘Seth’, a peak-time weapon built purely for maximum dancefloor damage. Then the title track takes over, sliding into darker, more experimental territory with sound design sharp enough to draw blood. ‘Galskap’ closes things out as the relentless one, all pressure and sustained intensity, the kind of track that doesn’t let go until the lights come up.

This is modern Neurofunk pushed further into heavier, more refined territory. Industrial pressure, deep low-end menace, shadowed atmospheres that feel cinematic rather than gimmicky. Warehouse ready. Festival ready. Built for basements and big stages alike.

Check out our premiere of ‘Seth’ below. The ‘Freezing Moon’ lands via Kosenprod on Friday, 19th June. Grab your copy here!
