Skorpion drops ‘Tribulations’ EP on Stonx Music

The ‘Tribulations’ EP is a deranged new release from Stonx Music’s resident ‘psychosis inspirer’ Skorpion. A rare four-track offering on Stonx Music, the label knew they just had to have this one. From rolling, evolving deep rhythms to disjointed, screaming basslines this EP brings variety and contrast to a continuously evolving darkness.

‘Heart Operator’ is a garage bass-influenced techy roller with vocal chops aplenty. ‘Tribulations’ the title track keeps it distorted with spacey arps and a staccato feel. ‘Death and Despair’ is an avant-garde masterpiece with some exquisite sound design and ‘Become a Shadow’ is a deeply satisfying roller.

This is one of the more interesting and enigmatic releases coming out of Stonx Music in the near future.

Huge Vision Radio feels and they fully expect it to end up there. Skorpion is always pushing further and further in the depths of Neuro to pull out some stuff that quite simply hasn’t been heard before. So make sure you hear it.

The Stonx boys will be playing these ones out in London close to Christmas!

Today we premiere ‘Become A Shadow’ which you can check out below. Skorpion drops his ‘Tribulations’ EP via Stonx Music on 18th December, make sure you grab yourself a copy from here!
