Shodan set to drop ‘Bias Disorder’ EP on Detached Audio

The ‘Angry Animals’ trilogy as presented by the supreme talent Shodan comes to a conclusion with the ‘Bias Disorder’ EP. Like the previous parts of this series, Shodan showcases his production wizardry and songwriting skills in four more tracks, including a collaboration with Detached Audio alumni Hex.

The title track ‘Bias Disorder’ paves the way with an epic introduction which leads to a barrage of brutal basslines and breaks; this is Shodan at his nastiest while also displaying a perfect balance of light and dark. ‘Futureproof’ follows this up – this track showcases a more modern take on Shodan’s sound while still providing the weight and funk that can get any dancefloor grooving.

We’ve seen Shodan team up with Hex and slay down on Four Corners Music with ‘Battle Cry’, and now they rejoin forces for ‘The Black Between The Stars’ – a mysterious intro leads the way for an eerie, off-beat Drum & Bass smasher, once again proving how well their sounds fuse together. Finally, the trilogy ends with ‘Lazer Raptors’ which sees Shodan go down a jump-up direction for a three minute onslaught of aggressive basses and drums, and serves as a perfect way to wrap up the epic journey that Shodan has gone through with us through his 3 part series of EPs.
