Renegade Riddims: Victoria-V
Victoria-V is no stranger to the dance music scene. Hailing from Canterbury, Kent she moved to South London 1 year ago to pursue her career in music. After hanging up her headphones following a successful 10 year DJ career playing House Music on her own radio shows and in venues such as Ministry of Sound, Victoria-V fell in love with Drum and Bass.
For the last 3 years, she has lived and breathed Drum and Bass and is now fully submerged into the scene, having completed and excelled at courses with Ministry of Sound Academy and London Sound Academy. She is currently attending LSA for music production training and this year will see her first release as a producer. The aspiring DJ has held a residency with Liquid and Envy, played the Source Bar in Maidstone regularly and put on her own event called ‘Le Funk Maison’.
Victoria-V is mentored by our very own head honcho Grahame Farmer. As part of his BOOST DJs, Grahame helps up and coming DJs and producers to fulfil their dreams of releasing records and playing at iconic venues to massive crowds of diehard dance music fans and enthusiasts.
Taking her influence from artists like LSB, Randall, Bryan Gee and Friction, she has recently begun producing her own music and has some exciting new releases in the pipeline, we are sure this is going to be a great year for Victoria-V.
Erring on the liquid side of Drum & Bass, we welcome Victoria-V to our Renegade Riddims mix series.
