Renegade Riddims: Think Tonk

Mancunian project Think Tonk is the culmination of years of love for the UK, West Indian and US dance floor music and culture. A celebration of Dancehall, D&B, Reggae, Jungle, Hip hop, House and onwards.

One half of Think Tonk is a Producer/Dj with a history of production routed in the early 90’s Jungle and rave scene. His music has received support from far afield as John Peel to Slipmatt, from Grooverider to Annie Nightingale. The other half of the duo is a well-loved and respected MC and Vocalist, with a multitude of accolades in both drum and bass and UK hip hop.

Since releasing their debut single back in 2015, Think Tonk have had a constant string of support from radio tastemakers such as Toddla T, DJ Target, Mistajam, Annie Mac, Dj Fresh, Sigma, Bryan G, Dub Phizix, Lenzman and many more.

Think Tonk is an adventure into all things Bashy, Bassy, Wavey and Ravey.

We’re really happy to bring Think Tonk onto our Renegade Riddims series with a mix made especially for this weekend’s Carnival and Soul In Motion X Wavey Garms event on Sunday night
