Renegade Riddims: Jen Symmetry

Hailing from the US, Jen Symmetry has been making serious noise across the underground bass scene with high-energy sets that hit hard and don’t let up. Dark, driving and razor-sharp, her selections span Drum & Bass, Jungle, Halftime and beyond, landing her prime slots alongside the likes of Sam Binga, Paradox, Pola & Bryson and Craze at events including Let It Roll Puerto Rico, Infrasound Festival and Driven AM NYC.

Behind the decks is just the start. Jen’s original productions have been turning heads on labels including Rolled Up, Global DNB Collective and Drum Army Crew, with more drops lined up for 2026. Her range moves from Jungle to Breaks and Dubstep, and she’s not afraid to go to dark places with it.

Off the stage, she’s a key figure in Mechanix Minneapolis, helping curate inclusive, cutting-edge bass nights, and flies the flag for the DnB Girls collective. She also holds down a residency on Bassdrive Radio, where her Twitch following will already know her well after she scooped Best Twitch Newcomer at the 2021 Twitch Breakbeat Awards and won the 916 Junglist DJ battle.

Jen Symmetry is the real deal. I recently premiered her track ‘Sinister’, which dropped on Drum Army a few weeks ago. Check it out below!

Since doing the premiere, I’ve listened to more of her productions and mixes and have been blown away. So, I invited her to join our Renegade Riddims series, and I think you’ll love the mix she’s prepared for us. Her mix features music from herself, Azpect, Dunk, Kasra, Gifta, Clipz, Charis, DJ Hybrid, Conrad Subs, Quadrant & Iris, and loads more.

She has a bright future ahead…Watch this space!
