Parallel Depth drop ‘Architextures IV’

The Iberian project Parallel Depth celebrates its 3rd birthday with a strong release featuring some of the hottest newcomers from around the globe. Sub-bass business and mid-range madness on this five-track EP entitled ‘Architextures IV’ from the imprint.

Three years ago the Spanish project bounced into the scene and since then they’ve been working non-stop to be the nexus between the national and global dnb scene, and that’s pictured very well on this EP. The fetish release of the imprint comes back on its fourth presentation, with more national artists than ever and the participation of Samath, Nomad and HVRLYN, who have released on the label in the past.

Among the national artists, they found Khramer, Violent Cuts and MUR, three artists that have been aiming high, raising some eyebrows lately. We especially want to mention the latest EP from Khramer on Transparent Audio, which got Beatport’s top 10 on the collaboration with MUR on ‘Can’t Justify’.

In respect of the tunes, Khramer and HVRLYN are the openers with ‘Devices’. Wobbly bass with murky whomps and the usual minimal drums. A tech masterpiece with a sci-fi atmosphere. The second track is from MUR, pure local talent displaying a vulgar excess of energy and power in ‘Gears’. Next up Samath returns again to the label with ‘Tea Leaf’, showcasing pure dancefloor smasher vibes. Following on ‘Diverge’ is the comeback of Nomad to the label, since his acclaimed ‘Bad Habits’ EP they were dying to have him back on the firm, so this deep roller will satisfy the most staunch fans. Closing the release we have Violent Cuts with ‘Hero’, provoking frequencies with the signature dryness of the producer.

Today we premiere Samath’s contribution to the release, ‘Tea Leaf’ which you can check out below. The ‘Architextures IV’ VA EP drops on Friday 6th May, make sure you grab yourself a copy from here!
