Nu-Lo drops ‘The Fugitive’ EP on Rebel Music

Tom Henry aka Nu-Lo is a Brighton based DJ and Producer. He is making his return to Rebel Music with his debut full release. ‘The Fugitive’ EP showcases the south coast residents’ crisp minimal sound coupled with a penchant for exploring and pushing a darker take on things.

Returning to the label after his triumphant collab with label mate Peas, this 4 tracker takes us on a journey through the sonics of one of Brighton’s Delirium crew’s founding members.

Kicking things off with the title track, ‘The Fugitive’ is a deep stepper, tinged with moody atmospherics, low subs and subtle vocal touches.

Next up ‘Rigor Samsa’ hits hard with its monstrous lead bass and clean minimalistic beats, intricate pickups and haunting aesthetic.

Smashing up Rebel dances for months, ‘The Bends’ is another bass-heavy monster guaranteed to get any floor shaking in its wake.

Closing out the EP, ‘Uncycled’ is the perfect finish, exploring another side of Nu-Lo’s sound. This half time number is packed full of vibes, loaded with bottom end and a real neck snapper.

Today we premiere ‘The Bends’ which you can check out below. ‘The Fugitive’ EP drops this Friday 8th April, make sure you grab a copy from here!
