Norman & BPSK collab on ‘Junglist Soul / Kung-Fu Killer’

Norman and BPSK, two veterans from the French Jungle scene have teamed up once again to deliver two old-school-flavoured tunes packed with dark energy, ‘Junglist Soul’ and ‘Kung-Fu Killer’.

As you may expect from its title, the intro to ‘Junglist Soul’ raises the pressure with soulful vocals and ambient keys, until it is released with a heavyweight sub-bass drop backed by surgically chopped Amen Breaks.

‘Kung-Fu Killer’ takes you to the evil side of Shaolin with its epic brass and kung-fu movie samples. An assertive Reese bassline takes the track into darker territories, with its questions being answered by a pitch-evolving 808 bass patch.

With expertly crafted neat production and DJing in mind, these two tracks are guaranteed to find their way into the crate of any Junglist looking for the late 90s vibe.

Today we premiere ‘Junglist Soul’ which you can check out below. The release drops via Breakbeat Fury Recordings on Saturday 1st October, make sure you grab a copy for your collection from here!
