Newcomer LG lands on Monk Audio with ‘A.S.B.O’

The next release from Monk Audio brings a brand new producer to the team named, LG. LG is a 30 year old DJ/producer from Scotland’s finest, Edinburgh. His first foray into the world of drum and bass was back in 2007 when he was convinced into joining a mate at a drum and bass rave. Having never heard of the genre but a keen trance fan willing to give anything a go, young Liam’s eyes were opened to a whole new world of sonic sound. If you’re going to go into your first drum and bass event blind then there are no better acts to ease you in than Hype, Friction and the mighty Ed Rush & Optical.

Monk Audio proudly presents LG’s debut full EP, ‘A.S.B.O’. This release is filled with a wicked blend of old school styles with a more contemporary twist. The title track and our premiere for today ‘A.S.B.O’ is a wobbly wonder brimming with funk. Fans of Ed Rush & Optical, Dillinja and Jonny L will love the sound of these drums pounding through a system as if the 90s never left. Monk Audio have always been about trying to mix old sounds with new school and there’s no one upcoming doing it like LG is right now.
