Newcomer HVRLYN lands on Lost Recordings

Share

Lost Recordings are bringing their ‘Signals’ series crashing into 2021 and continuing the tradition of welcoming emerging artists to the label. They’re kicking off the year by introducing us to HVRLYN – pronounced HARLYN.

HVRLYN may not be a name you’re overly familiar with yet but with such an infectious energy behind the tracks, we anticipate a bright future for the Bristol-based producer. He recently released with Lost Recordings good friends Twisted Sounds. We’re sure we’ll be seeing him grabbing the attention of audiences just as fast as he nabbed theirs.

With everyone spending so much time stuck inside, production value and creativity in current releases have reached a new high. Among some serious demos to hit the Lost Recordings inbox, these felt like the standout, memorable tracks to them, perfectly capturing the essence of ‘Signals’.

Whether it’s the organised chaos of our premiere ‘Piccadilly Bop’, or the slightly more subdued but still-packs-a-punch flow of ‘The Wedge’ that tickles your pickle; it’s clear that individuality and impressive sound design have been stamped all over these tracks.

It’s a great start to 2021 for HVRYLN, and we hope to see him go places this year… when the government say it’s safe to do so of course!

Check out our premiere of ‘Piccadilly Bop’ below. The release is scheduled to drop on 15th February, make sure you grab a copy here
