Evolution Chamber welcomes back Myselor with ‘Breaking Chains’, the opening sampler from his forthcoming album ‘Cosmic Expression’.
The 20-track album has been shaped by a period of significant personal change for the artist. Rather than working within a single genre, Myselor moves between neurofunk, dubstep, trance, neurobreaks, downtempo, cinematic and ambient territory across the record’s running time. The breadth is deliberate. Each mode serves the wider arc of the project rather than existing as a demonstration of range for its own sake, treating the long-form format as space to document an internal process honestly.
‘Breaking Chains’ arrives as the first introduction to that wider body of work. The track concerns itself with the weight of habit, inherited belief and social conditioning, the patterns that quietly define behaviour without announcement. It is a direct piece of music with a clear intention behind it, less a statement of arrival than a moment of confrontation between the listener and the invisible structures that shape how they move through the world.
‘Embrace the Infinite’ occupies the flip side and extends the idea outward. Where ‘Breaking Chains’ presents the confrontation, this second cut moves into what follows: openness, transition, the space that opens once those patterns are challenged. Together they form a two-part opening chapter for the album, mapping the distance between limitation and possibility.
The release continues a thread running through Evolution Chamber’s catalogue. The label has consistently positioned the album format as the primary artistic unit rather than the single, and ‘Cosmic Expression’ follows that logic through to completion, building across 20 tracks rather than making its case in one.
