Battery & Philth launch their new Drum & Bass label Majesty with heavyweight energy

Majesty arrives with purpose, swagger and a clear mission. This is more than a new imprint; it is a fully formed vision from three scene veterans who know exactly where they want to take the sound. Majesty brings together Battery (Craggz & Parallel) and Philth. This is a trio whose musical bond has been bubbling away for years and has now evolved into a dedicated Drum & Bass label with its own identity. Majesty is rooted in deep foundations yet built with eyes fixed on the next rave, the next crowd and the next idea.

The story begins with admiration. Three producers who respected each other’s craft long before they ever shared a studio. Between them lies a stacked history across Metalheadz, Hospital, Valve, Integral and Dispatch Recordings. Their collaborations on Dispatch hinted at something bigger than a one-off project. Every session sparked new ideas. Every tune arrived quicker than the last. It became obvious they needed their own platform to house the momentum.

Majesty represents their full spectrum approach to Drum & Bass. It looks beyond trends and leans into the corners of the genre they love most. Smooth liquid designed for late night rollers. Futuristic tech that slices through club systems. Rugged breaks that nod to the foundations. Deep atmospheres and big emotional moments that hit in the chest. Their sound is varied but connected by instinct and craft. It is Drum & Bass shaped by decades of listening, raving, teaching and refining.

Their first move under the Majesty banner arrived 2 weeks ago with the single ‘Only You’ and continues today with ‘Aperol’, a warm and punchy opener that sets the tone without giving the whole game away. The wider ‘Romance Is Dead’ EP follows on 12th December (pre-order here) and showcases everything their new label stands for. As always, the visuals matter too. Each release features bespoke artwork by Sian Pointon, known as re.coll, whose hand-cut collages add texture and personality to every drop.

Majesty are also carving out space on the airwaves. Their new monthly residency on Kool FM delivers their sound directly to the culture every third Sunday, adding another layer to their world.
