Low Syndicate Audio set to drop ‘Reworks Vol 1’ EP

Share

As the conclusion of 2023 approaches, Low Syndicate Audio works to conclude the year with brilliance by introducing their 10th release. Celebrating this significant milestone, they proudly unveil the inaugural edition of ‘Reworks’. This collection comprises 6 tracks that have significantly impacted their initial 2 years, meticulously reimagined by the artists who have played pivotal roles in other label releases from that period.

The reworks feature Wave‘s rendition of Delah, Ciland‘s take on No Human Sound, Delah remixing Mughte, One Mindz remixing Delah & Ciland, Mughte remixing One Mindz, and No Human Sound remixing Wave, aligning with the chronological sequence of the original releases.

The journey begins with Delah’s ‘Lost Signal’ from his debut release ‘Bigman’ EP. Colombian Wave, recognized for a recent EP on the esteemed DSCI4 label this year, reinterprets the track, catapulting it into the golden age of Neurofunk, evoking a style reminiscent of the late 90s to early 2000s Virus Recordings.

Following suit, from the label’s second release, the powerful creation ‘Ping Reality’ by No Human Sound, featured in ‘Sydney’s Catalogue,’ undergoes a transformation by Chilean artist Ciland. With finesse, Ciland infuses the original with a rolling bassline and deeper drums, enhancing its potency while maintaining its essence.

Delah takes charge of reworking Mughte’s ‘Crime Scene’, a track from the third reference. Now residing in Dublin, Delah infuses the remix with his signature elastic and raw basslines, delving into a darker sonic landscape without straying from the original essence.

Brazilian artist One Mindz diversifies the EP’s intensity with a sublime remix of ‘Fall Down’, a collaboration between Delah and Ciland, featured in the label’s 5th release, ‘Off Limits’. Offering an introspective ambience, One Mindz skillfully melds minimalist drums with poignant low frequencies.

The youngest talent in the roster, Mughte, born in France and raised in Spain, showcases the strength of the newer generations from Valencia. Tasked with remixing Syndicate’s anthem, ‘Just a Game’ by One Mindz, Mughte imparts a fresh twist, transporting the track to the contemporary era of Techstep.

To culminate the EP, the Valencian duo and mastering collaborators from Pobla Studio, No Human Sound, reimagine Wave’s ‘Really Slow’, released in March. Their remix is laden with synthetic textures and sharp drumwork, propelling the original into a dystopian realm symbolic of the year 3000.

Today we premiere Delah’s remix of Mughte’s ‘Crime Scene, check it out below! Low Syndicate Audio drop their ‘Rewords Vol 1’ EP on Friday 29th December, you can grab it here!
