Lovely drops ‘Better Late Than Never PT. II’ EP on Guidance

Share

Lovely drops it like a bomb yet again on Guidance Music, as he returns to the imprint with his brand new EP, ‘Better Late Than Never Part II’.

Back for his third solo offering on the South Coast imprint, the Hong Kong based producer shows why he’s become a firm fixture on the label and this latest collection of music elevates his status once again.

Teaming up with none other than Grime don Flowdan on ‘Bomb’, the tone for the EP is instantly set; these are heavyweight tracks meant for the floor. ‘Dem Na Ready’ carries on Lovely’s partiality for the combination of hoovers and dancehall on top of a big stepped out beat, whilst ‘Had To’, alongside friends and fellow Hong Kong residents Fu and 108 lays a similar aesthetic ably over the top of a percussive roller. ‘What Dem A Talk About’ takes it back to the Bluenote in 2021, a classic break paired alongside mentasms and ripping edits making this a pack of main set stompers.

‘Better Late Than Never Part II’ sees Lovely return yet again with another collection of dancefloor heaters and sees the producer really begin to start to cement his place at the top table of Drum & Bass.

Today we premiere ‘Dem Na Ready’ which is an absolute weapon! Check it out below. Lovely drops his ‘Better Late Than Never Pt. II’ EP via Guidance Music tomorrow (Friday 6th August 2021). Make sure you grab a copy for your arsenal from the purchase button beneath the Soundcloud player!
