MIDNIGHT CVLT lands ‘Tokyo Overdrive’ on Evolution Chamber’s ‘Transmissions Vol. 4’

The Evolution Chamber camp keeps its radar locked firmly on the future with ‘Transmissions Vol. 4’, the latest chapter in a series built to spotlight the next wave of Drum & Bass producers. Across previous editions, the concept has become a reliable launchpad for rising talent, the kind of producers whose music is already echoing through basements, warehouse sessions, and festival rigs long before their names reach the top line.

This fourth instalment continues that tradition with five artists stepping forward, each bringing their own take on modern Drum & Bass energy while keeping the focus exactly where it belongs, the dancefloor.

First up are Moscow duo Basotdel with ‘All Over Again’, a confident opener that wastes zero time getting to work. The groove rolls forward with sharp call-and-response bass movements, punchy drums, and just enough attitude to light up a packed room. It feels purpose-built for peak-time sets, the kind of tune that grabs the crowd early and refuses to let go.

Next comes Ukrainian producer CrucifyMe with ‘Silencer’, a tune that balances power with playful flair. Catchy female vocal touches weave through a tight rolling rhythm while crisp bass riffs snap against the drums. The result is a track that feels instantly memorable, built with the kind of bounce and swing that DJs love to reload when the room starts moving.

Spanish newcomer MIDNIGHT CVLT steps up next with our premiere ‘Tokyo Overdrive’, and the name alone gives away the intent. Heavy intro pressure quickly drops into hard-hitting drums and stabbing bass hits that bounce around the mix with serious weight. This one is pure dancefloor impact, engineered for dark rooms, big rigs, and those sweaty warehouse moments where the bass hits just right.

Fellow Spaniard Wiguez then flips the script slightly with ‘Tu Voz’. While still built for the club, the track leans into a more cinematic direction, layering emotional melodies, textured harmonies and rolling percussion into a groove that unfolds gradually. It is a reminder that Drum & Bass can still tell a story while keeping feet moving.

Closing the EP, yanekcore returns to the Transmissions series with ‘Aurora’. Rolling drums glide beneath wide atmospheric layers before the bass pressure kicks in with confident authority. It is a strong finale that ties the project together while leaving plenty of space for the system to breathe.

With ‘Transmissions Vol. 4’, Evolution Chamber once again proves that its eye for emerging talent is sharper than ever. These are the names quietly shaping tomorrow’s Drum & Bass sound, one dancefloor weapon at a time.
