Dunk lands on Trust Audio with ‘Bad Trip’

Share

Trust Audio kick-off 2021 in fine style with a new look and branding concept, complimenting their already impressive back catalogue and quality roster of artists.

Following up from the ‘Best Bits 02’ compilation last month, this is Trust Audio’s 1st new release of the year and it is one hell of a tasty offering from the man like Dunk. He is set to drop two huge tracks called ‘Bad Trip’ and ‘Supreme Dream’ on the imprint.

One-half of the mighty Jam Thieves, Dunk has been making big moves as a solo artist in 2020 and that momentum is only set to increase this year. Dunk is known for going in deep and rolling and this release is no exception.

Our premiere ‘Bad Trip’ gets us going and is a beautiful slice of tech funk for the dance floor. Glitchy drum edits and rolls, a sublime bass hook with synth atmospherics and effects that take you into a realm of Drum & Bass niceness that few can achieve.

Following up is ‘Supreme Dream’ which is another tech funk roller that glides effortlessly into dark waters but has a warm energy that lifts your spirit with a nice synth pattern and clever edits creating a slick audio tapestry that flows throughout the track, complementing the neat drum work and tuff bassline groove that drives the track.

Another sick release from Trust Audio and another quality artist joins the Trust squad. We hear there’s a lot in store from Trust in 2021 and this release sets things up nicely for the year ahead.

Check out our premiere of Dunk ‘Bad Trip’ below. The 2 tracks drop today as Beatport and Spotify exclusives and will be on all other platforms on 18th March. Make sure you grab them from here
