Division Sounds Launch Their Label Era with ‘Stand Up’ from STANDBY

Five years deep and Division Sounds are finally pressing record! Their debut official release, ‘Stand Up’ by Rainham’s own STANDBY, lands as both a birthday statement and a mission statement. This is the sound of a grassroots crew stepping out of the shadows and into the record label game, and they’ve picked one hell of a calling card.

STANDBY has been on a tear since 2020. What started as a passion project turned into a proper ascent through the Kent circuit, and these days he’s a fixture across Maidstone’s booming Drum & Bass scene. He’s shared decks with Mozey, Born on Road, Amplify and Mollie Collins, with support slots for Benny L and Bladerunner locked in for October. Momentum? He’s got it in spades.

The sound is where it gets tasty. Take the razor-sharp precision of Visages, Molecular, DLR and Crystal Clear, then bolt it onto something dark and physical. ‘Stand Up’ lives in that sweet spot where clinical engineering meets raw dancefloor pressure. Techy, steppy arrangements roll into high-energy blends, intricate percussion builds the tension, and then the whole thing lets rip. It’s the kind of roller that keeps a room locked from the first drop to the last.

You can hear exactly where it belongs. Sweaty basements, festival stages and warehouse rooms at 2am, hands in the air and subs doing the talking.

Here’s the plan. The original mix drops first on Bandcamp, pay-what-you-want, before hitting Spotify and every major platform at midnight on 4th October 2026. Heavyweight remix duties are already locked in, and the scene support is stacking up fast. Translation: get on this one early.

Division Sounds have earned this moment. Founded in 2021 by Denzel Bragge, the London and Kent collective have built a name pairing serious lineups with skate jams, youth workshops and mental health advocacy, hosting the likes of Ray Keith, Nicky Blackmarket, Deekline and Fatman D along the way. Now, with Denzel and Callum Moir steering the next era, the music is finally getting its own home.

STANDBY is one of Kent’s brightest, and this is his moment.
