Detached Audio drop ‘Segments: Section Three’ VA EP

It’s time to wrap up a stellar year at Detached Audio HQ and what better way to wrap things up than with a new section of their ‘Segments’ series which they launched earlier this year! The third in the series ‘Segments: Section Three’ sees them welcome in wonderful talents in the form of Beeson, Skallagrim and good shepherd onto the label while also seeing label boss K2T make his return to the label for the first time in over 2 years.

After his blazing new track ‘Til 4am’ with Dynamite MC on Soulvent Records, Beeson makes his Detached Audio debut with ‘Right Side Drive’, a liquid roller with jungle-influenced basslines and ethereal arps. This is followed by ‘Daylight Dancing’ from K2T, a hybrid between future jungle and hip-hop which twists and turns at every corner.

Skallagrim debuts on the label with the delicate piece that is ‘Over & Over’, a sweet dedication to his dog. Soft piano lines and rolling basslines make this a tune that’s both smooth as well as an earworm. This EP, and their year by extension, is wrapped up by ‘Mahalo’ by good shepherd; a nostalgic atmospheric piece that fitting wraps up how thankful we are to have had the support we’ve had over the last year.

Today we premiere K2T’s contribution to the VA ‘Daylight Dancing’ which you can check out below. The ‘Segments: Section Three’ VA EP drops on Friday 16th December, make sure you grab a copy for your collection from here!
