Deploy drops ‘We Could Have It All’ EP on DTM Recordings

DTM Recordings presents ‘We Could Have It All’ EP, the latest record from DJ, producer and label founder Deploy. The single sees him readopt his Dylan Wilde alias, contributing production and vocals over three tracks. Across the record, the multi-faceted artist presents a melodic vision of Drum & Bass, which finds time to ask questions about the world among the lush soundscapes.

The title track ‘We Could Have It All’ opens the record. Hyperspeed drum programming and stirring melodies populate the introduction, with Wilde’s vocals soaring over the top. When the track unfurls, an engulfing bass pattern joins the synths and drums. Wilde delivers harmonious vocal runs, and Deploy manipulates them. It’s a powerful force.

‘Gatekeepers’ is up next. Here, Wilde sings about energy stealers, his vocal melting into an ether of encompassing bass and flaring synth melodies. Much like the track before, ‘Gatekeepers’ feels potent, the production scooping you in and demanding you take note.

‘A Better World’ closes the record. Wilde’s vocals ask questions about global leaders’ promises to create a better world. Underneath him, Deploy layers pinpoint drum lines and warping bass patterns, adding the final touches to a poignant and inquisitive closing track.

Today we premiere ‘We Could Have It All’ which you can check out below. The single will land exclusively on Beatport on 19th August for two weeks, with the full project dropping 16th September. Make sure you bag yourself a copy from here!
