D-Region & Code Are Ready to Drop ‘Night Lights / Wired’ on M Ocean Records

Some duos just get it. D-Region & Code are two artists who have spent years earning their stripes across some of the most respected imprints in Drum & Bass and Jungle, with releases on Emotif, Celsius, Studio Rockers, Hardcore Energy, 24 Karat, DNBB, Headsbass, Moondance and Dirty Kitchen Rave sitting across their combined back catalogue. We’re premiering ‘Wired’ today, lifted from their brand new two-sided single ‘Night Lights / Wired’ on M Ocean Records, and it’s a release that shows exactly why this duo are considered key figures in the scene.

That kind of back catalogue breadth tells you everything. These are not artists chasing a sound; they have already found it, refined it, and they keep delivering.

‘Wired’ leans into something more intimate than you might expect from a dancefloor cut, but do not let that fool you. Warm melodies and shimmering synth work pull you in close, elegant vocals adding an emotional edge that sits beautifully against the stripped-back production. It builds with real patience and intent, and when that drop arrives, it hits with a restrained power that is all the more effective for the journey it takes to get there. Cinematic, warm, subtle, but absolutely built for those late-night moments when the warehouse goes quiet, and the music does the talking.

The flip, ‘Night Lights’, shifts the mood across a broader emotional landscape, moving between euphoric highs, introspective passages and atmospheric textures that speak to the duo’s versatility. Two tracks, two distinct moods, one very coherent statement.
