cLÜ & Headroom are the latest to join Demand Records

Demand Records are excited to extend the Demand Family with two new members! Callum Rees aka. clÜ from Cardiff, UK and Jack Stokes aka. Headroom from Sheffield, UK on the latest ‘Demand Selects #13’ release!

If like us, you always have an eye on upcoming artists these two young gentlemen won’t necessarily be new names. With releases out on labels like Four Corners and Incurzion Audio and gaining support from the likes of Bredren, Arkaik, Doc Scott or channels like Drum & Bass Arena, they’ve come through the ranks in recent months. And now Demand Records are proud to showcase their first collaborative four-piece EP!

‘Wanna’, the first of the two collaborations on the EP, strikes deep. A dark and eerie, head down dancefloor bopper, with a moving bassline – what’s not to like?

The second ‘All I Need’ is a musical piece with an old school vibe, especially on drums and bassline, a lovely piano hook and catchy singalong vocals.

‘Distant’ the solo track from clÜ is an uplifting but melancholic piano lead liquid piece with a deep undertone especially as it progresses.

Headroom’s solo effort ‘Rosemary’ with haunting vocals and a silky piano riff, also shows the sensitive side of an artist that is more widely known for his heavier sound.

We’re excited about these two artists as they showcase versatility, willingness to sound different and taking risks which we believe will get them ahead of the curve sooner or later.
