Brain & Novaglitch drop EP on I.D Bogotá Music

Time: the essence of the reality that we experience. It constitutes us and exceeds us. It shows us the variable and dynamic nature of the world and what’s in it. If there is movement there is change. If there is change there is time. If there is time there is music. If there is music there is life.

Brain and Novaglitch are both Drum and Bass DJs and Producers From Bogotá, Colombia. Brain started his career in 2009 as part of the RE.SET Crew. To date, he’s worked with labels such as Cyberfunk, Flexout Audio, Dispatch Recordings, Sofa Sound and many more. Novaglitch has had releases on Citrus Records, Citate Forms, Prestige Music, Hyperactivity Music, Tesseract Recordings and many more.

Around 4 years ago the pair decided to launch their I.D Bogotá Music imprint. Since launching they have put out a respectable amount of music from themselves both as individuals and collectively. They’ve also signed a load of great underground Drum & Bass music from some really inspirational, forward-thinking artists.

Their new ‘Time’ EP is the latest release on the Colombian label I.D Bogotá Music. It will be available as a digital download and as a limited edition 7″ vinyl. Consisting of 5 original tracks by Brain and Novaglitch, ‘Time’ EP demonstrates the incredible potential found in the combination of the digital universe and analog production.

Today we premiere ‘Rush’ which is raw and industrial sounding. It’s fast and furious, big, bad and heavy and all the other descriptive phrases you can think of. They’ve used and created some amazing sounds for this beast. Starting out quite floaty and dreamy before the textures and sounds rapidly develop into something entirely different than you’d expect. However, if you’re aware of these two experimental producers then you know exactly what to expect!
