Reunited and fully recharged, Ben Soundscape and Samie A bring the heat with ‘Frontlines’ EP, landing Friday 11th July via Bristol’s trusted groove house, Intrigue Music. What started as a reconnection between two friends during the limbo between lockdowns has morphed into four deep cuts designed for dimly lit basements and sunrise afters alike.
This one’s a proper journey. The ‘Frontlines’ EP kicks off with ‘Battleground’, a heavyweight roller that flexes tribal drums and low-end pressure made to test any rig worth its cones. Next up, ‘Illusions of Grandeur’ keeps the energy sharp with snappy breaks, twisting atmospheres and that signature Intrigue polish. If you like it moody, punchy, and seriously danceable, this is your lane.
Then things take a turn. ‘Together Again’ strips it back to the feels. Warm pads, crisp percussion, and a groove that speaks to the beauty of being back in the room together, soundtracking everything from hazy sunrise sets to emotional headphone moments.
