ARKELL LDN to Drop ‘LIVE FOREVER’ EP – A Fusion of Live Drums, Breaks & Euphoric Electronic Soundscapes

ARKELL LDN is gearing up to drop their ‘LIVE FOREVER’ EP on 28th March, packed with three high-energy tracks: ‘LIVE FOREVER,’ ‘Contact,’ and ‘Horizon.’ Blending live drums with electronic beats, they’ve carved out a sound that sits somewhere between Drum & Bass and Electronica—only with a powerful live performance twist. It’s clear these two aren’t just making music; they’re crafting something special.

Made up of drummers John Arkell and Ali Thynne, ARKELL LDN isn’t short on experience. Between them, they’ve played alongside some of the UK’s biggest names, including Bonobo, Griff, James Gillespie, Gabrielle Aplin, Gentlemen’s Dub Club, Kelly Lee Owens, Kwabs, L Devine, Labrinth, Lewis Capaldi, Loyle Carner, M.O, Newham Generals, Stormzy, Sugababes, Submotion Orchestra, Saint Raymond, Tom Walker, Pengshui, Son Of Kick, and True Tiger. Their live performances are all about precision, energy, and serious attention to detail—just watch their videos, and you’ll see exactly what they bring to the table.

“All 3 tracks could work for the final boss or level of a game you’ve been working on for months, or maybe just give a general sense of euphoria/achievement, also maybe a sense of coming home to a safe place or finding love/trust …  basically just a soundtrack to anything that makes you feel really really fucking good, like a natural high for all the right reasons. I like the idea that these are on in the background when you just have so much energy you just have to run out the door, or become really invested in whatever it is you’re doing at that time, like laser-focused/in a state of flow. There’s an old video game called Wipeout which when you’re racing kinda forces you into that state. “ – ARKELL LDN

Taking inspiration from the raw power of festival sound systems and the fearless energy of acts like The Prodigy, Soulwax, LCD Soundsystem, Bicep, Noisia, Andy C, and Stanton Warriors, ARKELL LDN delivers a sound that’s built for the live stage. They also weave in the euphoric vibes of Rival Consoles, Fred Again.. and Caribou, adding extra depth to their drum-heavy, electronic-infused style. Expect big things from these guys!
