Toriah is to ‘Rise Above It All’ with her new EP

Fresh from an incredible string of sets across Europe, Liverpool DJ, Toriah is back with a new release, ‘Rise Above It All’.

A collection of two tracks, ‘Rise Above It All’ All brings the euphoric vibes that are guaranteed to travel well this summer.

Titular progressive house track ‘Rise Above It All’ brings a driving, rolling bassline and melodic ARP synths. Lush vocals and leads combine with beautiful break pads with euphoric uplifting melodies.

Toriah describes writing the track as: ‘Rise Above It All’ is about trying to gain control over negative thoughts and channel energy back into thinking positive thoughts and choosing to rise above whatever has affected me at the time.

She says “The track brings a mixture of emotions and the strength of the message to rise back up again.”

Second track Something I Said continues the uplifting vibes – get ready to hear this screamed aloud at concerts throughout the summer. The track is perfectly crafted for a summer of incredible memories and euphoric moments.

Both tracks have been on heavy rotation on BBC Radio One, on Thursday nights with Jaguar.

Toriah has earned a solid reputation for legendary DJ sets playing Liverpool hotspots and hosting a weekly radio show on InDemand Radio under her own name Vicki Scott. Her biggest gigs to date include spreading her wings to the White Isle, gracing the decks at Café Mambo, Amnesia and Ocean Beach Ibiza. She’s also played incredible sets at DJ Mag’s Top 100 party at O2 Academy Brixton, as well as Creamfields and Reminisce Festival.

Rise Above It All drops on all major streaming platforms through the fast-growing label Marylebone Dance 17th June 2022.
