Tony Romera hits Sound D’Elite with ‘Can’t Sleep’

Share

Tony Romera makes his Sound D’Elite debut on 8th May with ‘Can’t Sleep’, the title track from a sharp three-track EP on Ilario Alicante’s imprint.

The Lyon-born producer has been a steady force in French house for more than 15 years, with releases on Solid Grooves, Black Book, Insomniac, Defected and Toolroom. His tracks have found their way into the bags of Michael Bibi, PAWSA, Chris Lake, Four Tet, Carl Cox, Jamie Jones and The Martinez Brothers, which tells you plenty.

‘Can’t Sleep’ gets straight to work. Looping vocals, a tight groove and a bassline built for peak-time pressure. No fuss, no filler, just proper basement fuel. The EP also sees Romera link with Fer BR on ‘Now Do It’ and Cyava on ‘Este Mambo’, rounding out a three-tracker made for late rooms and busy festival stages.

We premiere Tony Romera’s ‘Can’t Sleep’ today on Data Transmission.

Listen now, and grab the EP on Beatport from 8th May.
