TIMEKUBE to release his new ‘Rebirth’ EP for Operandi Records

Share

American techno artist TIMEKUBE pushes classic sounds of the past into the future on his new Rebirth EP for Operandi Records.

Musically raised between Los Angeles, California and San Salvador, El Salvador Josh Fabian aka TIMEKUBE is a vital new name in the electronic underground. His sound is energetic, melodic, boomy and driving and reflects his love of old-school rave and drum machine textures. He has already had support from names like Spartaque, Ramon Tapia and Laurent Garnier and continues to push on with this fresh EP.

The powerful ‘Rebirth’ opens up with oversized hi-hats, cantering techno drums and subtle vocal sounds stitched into the uplifting arrangement. It’s a perfect piece of middle-of-the-dance floor, dead-of-night weaponry that locks you into a trance.

There is a more industrial feel to the coarse textures and filtered vocal sounds of ‘WNTR.’ The drums are lumpy and oversized and make for a perfectly dynamic techno groove. Closer ‘El Salvador’ is a high octane banger for the peak time. Nuanced flashes of raved-up synth work light up the tough and unrelenting drums to make for a surefire dance floor anthem.

TIMEKUBE is sure to continue to turn heads with this newest release.

We premiere ‘WNTR’ on NUDE Techno, check it out here and grab it on Beatport.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
