Tim Taylor lands on Roush with ‘Persuasion’ EP

English tech-house head Tim Taylor has interesting releases via Daylight Robbery Records, NastyFunk or La Pera Records. Now it’s time to bring his heat to our Roush Label with ‘Persuasion’ a three-track-EP ready to rock every of your Christmas gigs.

Tim Taylor has made a rip-roaring impact in his short time as an artist. Tim’s release on La Pera did what it says on the tin and got ‘Everybodies Talking’. The EP smashed its way into the Beatport Top 50 whilst also amassing in excess of 200K streams across Soundcloud, Spotify and Youtube. If this wasn’t enough he has also released a slew of exciting edits, namely his edit of Michael Jackson’s ‘Billie Jean’ which on Soundcloud and Youtube has racked up a whopping combined total of 1.4m plays further outlining why there is such a buzz around this precocious twenty-year-old kid from the North West of the UK.

The first track, ’Persuasion’ opens things with a classy breakbeat pattern setting hip-hop styled rhythm while the diva vocal and the delayed percussion gives the track an ecstasy feeling. Next up is our premiere, ‘Underground’ has a similar tech-house vibe as ‘Persuasion’ but the use of the tight drums, a rave synth and the acid lead gives the track a different character that will be very useful. Last track ‘Shake’ closes this three-track EP.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
