Fantastic female artist/production/writing duo The Melody Men team with renowned dance producer James Hurr and rising US vocalist Tima Dee for infectious dancehall infused UK house workout Dip It.

The Melody Men aka Dyanna and Lou are a multi-faceted female writing and production team making a serious name for themselves in a testosterone dominated industry. The duo have millions of streams on Spotify and are working with some of the biggest and best artists and labels out there. With a burgeoning list of co-writes to their name having scored cuts with the likes of Mark Knight, Bontan, Kideko, Mason and Tough Love, all graced by Melody Men top lines and vocals.

Recent success has come via their co-write with Mark Knight – If It’s Love, which reached number 1 in the Cool Cuts chart and hit over 4 million streams on Spotify, garnering support from the likes of BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM plus DJ support from Diplo, Tiesto, Oliver Heldens, David Guetta and many more. More co-write hits also include ‘Dance, Shake, Move’ with Dutch producer Mason, which featured on TV adverts for major brands such as Colgate, Boots, Vodaphone and Stella McCartney. New single Dip It is a logical follow up and looks set to see the girls stock rise even higher.

James Hurr, long regarded as one of the go-to producers in the UK electronic scene has quickly made his name as a prolific artist/writer/producer. With a collaboration roster which reads like a who’s who of pop and dance, recent projects have seen him working with the likes of Leftwing:Kody, Basement Jaxx, Eli Brown, Danny Howard, Mark Knight, Beverley Knight and 220 Kid.

His writing and production has consistently received support from BBC Radio 1 (who once played nine of his productions in one night!) as well as Kiss FM and has clocked up over 100 million streams and counting on Spotify alone. His music has also found a home across all major labels as well as the likes of Ministry, Spinnin, Ultra and Armada, including 70 releases on Toolroom Records. The current new artist project with Paul Harris, ‘Hrrtz’, has seen signings to Atlantic, Ministry of Sound, Anjuna and has co-written and co-produced Mark Knight’s new artist album. James lends his quality production skills to stamp a big sound on Dip It.

San Francisco Bay Area native Tima Dee fell in love with the local dance music scene and could be found at shows and festivals across the area from an early age. Recognized for her distinct voice after just a few underground acoustic showcases, Tima’s first featured dance vocal gained hundreds of thousands of streams. Labels and publishers took notice and a few months later Tima had signed her first deal and moved to Los Angeles.

Tima found success lending her voice to a wide variety of dance genres as her name began to grow within the scene. She soon found herself collaborating and releasing songs with dance heavyweights such as Tritonal and Borgore. She has amassed well over 50 million streams on her work over the past few years. You can find her voice in the blockbuster Uncharted, the Oscar-nominated Audible and clubs across the globe. On Dip It we see Tima developing her co-writing skills and delivering a snappy and distinct vocal that rolls with the tracks beats.
