Stephen Knight announces his ‘Hydra’ EP

High Tide Recordings is a forward-thinking label conceived by a collective of great friends, seasoned promoters and they like to think accomplished DJs!

Stephen Knight aka ‘Knight’ has spent a great deal of his life so deeply entrenched in electronic music, that becoming a DJ seemed more like an inevitability than a hobby. Growing up in London on a strict diet of House music, he began frequenting Fabric, Turnmills and The Cross and immediately developed a strong affinity for legendary DJ John Digweed, as well as a host of other high pedigree DJs and producers such as Sister Bliss, Xpress 2 and Argentinian maestro Hernan Cattaneo. In 2008, Knight joined the ‘High Tide’ team as a promoter and resident DJ, having hosted parties with some of the world’s most renowned DJs.

High Tide’s first release of 2020 is a diverse three-track EP from co-founder Stephen Knight. ‘Hydra’ is peak time melodic housebuilder, ‘No Regrets’ a pounding techno stomper, whilst ‘Little Rocka’ is a heads-down houser. This is another solid release demonstrating Stephen’s tougher side and the wide spectrum of music he likes to produce and play.
