Simon Kidzoo & Elliot Fitch combine on ‘Back in the Days’

Share

Simon Kidzoo, the Dutch rising star, a name on everyone’s lips teams up with fellow Dutch producer Elliot Fitch to deliver 2 killer cuts of disco-infused jackin house music.

Lead track ‘Back in the Days’ states its purpose from the opening beat and takes no prisoners on its musical journey. Drawing influence from elements of disco, it’s hypnotic rhythm leads us into the breakdowns filled with orchestral-esque strings perfectly paired with soulful vocals and lyrics alluding to love and a real sense of escapism. We’re all up on our feet dancing and hope you will be too!

Next comes ‘Expression’ informing us ‘it’s all about expression…express yourself‘ and we couldn’t agree more. We find freedom in house music, where everyone is welcome and this is the perfect soundtrack, packed full of energy bringing the 4 to the floor from open to close.

With an ever-impressive run of releases between the duo on labels including Saved / Club Bad / Nervous / Etiquette / Lapsus Music/ Toolroom / Nervous and the list goes on it’s easy to see why this pairing have delivered one of the early sounds of the summer and it will come as no surprise that early supporters include Jamie Jones, David Penn, Supernova, Mark Knight, Javi Bora, Steve Lawler, Roger Sanchez & more.

It’s house music at its absolute finest, a masterclass in the influences of disco in house music and how to fill a dancefloor and we look forward to meeting you there.

We premiere ‘Back in the Days’ on Data Transmission, check it out here and grab / stream it here.
