SHOKË set their eyes on Sound D’Elite for their latest EP, ‘Rock The Planet’. The up-and-coming Neapolitan duo make their label debut on Ilario Alicante’s house-focused label with four exciting cuts, set for release on 31st May 2024.

Rooted in Italy’s vibrant house music scene, SHOKË emerges as a dynamic duo, blending minimal grooves with influences spanning rock, jazz, soul, and electronic music. 2023 marked a milestone for the pair with the launch of their new imprint, SHK, and standout debuts on esteemed platforms like Moan and Shout! Label.

Riding high from their successful return to Solid Grooves Raw with their menacing single ‘MDFK’, they now unveil their latest EP, ‘Rock The Planet’, on Ilario Alicante’s recently established Sound D’Elite, comprising four impressive tracks.

Title track ‘Rock The Planet’ introduces bumping bass licks, skipping hats and vocal hooks, delivering plenty of attitude. ‘Yessir’ follows, with grooving low-ends, sonic stabs, and moody atmospheres delivering a sultry house vibe, while ‘The Man From Casablanca’ impresses with a hypnotic arrangement of tunnelling atmospherics and contrasting sweeping melodies. To close, ‘You Don’t Want This’ pairs rolling beats and glitchy textures that delve into late-night territories to shake up the dancefloor.

SHOKË ‘Rock The Planet’ drops via Sound D’Elite on 31st May 2024 and we premiere ‘Rock The Planet’ on Data Transmission, check it out here and grab it on Beatport.
