Shawn Jackson releases his ‘And There’s You’ EP

At the point where relentless energy, dedication and talent meets, you’ll find the love-affair of Shawn Jackson and this game we call music. After 25 years of playing America’s finest clubs and balancing his own unique sound, the San Diego resident continues to stretch the curve. Having witnessed the early days and renaissance of electronic dance music, as well as its massive rise in the US, it’s about time you know about this gifted producer/DJ and open-minded label boss. Shawn Jackson has a story to tell, headphones to fill and feet to kill.

With a strong thirst for new music and a keen ear for genre-bending delights, Jackson’s constantly ahead of the game. Having rocked the decks at legendary venues like The Mission, Crobar, Limelight and NYC’s famous Twilo alongside the likes of John Digweed, Anthony Pappa, Carl Craig, Derrick Carter, Pete Tong and more, Shawn Jackson knows exactly how to light up a room and indulge its audience. Throughout the years, he’s crafted the individual, musical identities of multiple genres and created his own, tasty blend. Fusing the twists of (tech-)house with the depths of minimal, electro curves and classic sounds, he never fails to deliver.

Day&Night Recordings presents the debut in the Dublin label from American DJ, producer and label owner Shawn Jackson with his ‘And There’s You’ EP. The EP haves 3 tech-house tracks with a deep vibe and massive vocal. Joining the USA artist is Romanian producer Lexx Groove with a deep tech remix track with a groovy feel. Our premiere comes from Irish producer duo The Dirtbirdz with a techno remix braking this EP in one of the best releases coming out.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
