Share

Following the success of the original in April, Tinted Records are proud to present the Sammy Porter remixes of Harpoon’s ‘Horizon’.

UK-based whizzkid Sammy Porter has been on a whirlwind journey these last few years. His breakthrough single, ‘What We Started (A Bit Patchy)’ has amassed millions of streams. It was named a Future Anthem on BBC Radio 1’s Dance Anthems with support from Danny Howard, DJ Target, and Mistajam. His gig diary exploded with shows in Ibiza, Monaco and the Far East. As well as his regular performances for Lovejuice, House of Silk and more. Behind the scenes, he works as an A&R/label manager for Lovejuice Records. He also DJs for Rinse FM and runs his own label, Man-Machine Records.

Split across two mixes, a vocal and dub versions, Sammy uses the original motifs plus a wickedly catchy acidic bassline to take this indie dance anthem into overdrive. Supremely groovy the vocals take on a rock feel against the electronic backdrop of Sammys remix. Ultimately uplifting, here’s to another Future Anthem submission for the UKs brightest new star.

We premiere the extended version for you today, check it out below and grab it here.
